Today, we mark World Consumer Rights Day – a global event dedicated to raising awareness and promoting fair treatment for all consumers. It is one of MTED’s mandates to build consumer awareness and provide fair solutions when problems arise, so that every consumer is protected and empowered.

In partnership with TongaHealth, we are providing electronic scales to 25 small businesses and roadside vendors to ensure accurate pricing of goods such as imported fruits and vegetables.
